We’ve spent the past few months at NYLI working on a redesign of our website – NYLI.com. We made a few large changes to the way the site was built, and created a few new areas to improve user-experience on our website.

Responsive Design

One of the largest updates to our website has been making it adaptive to mobile and tablet devices. We’ve been using responsive design for a couple of years now on customer’s websites, and have now finally put the practice to place on our own. This allows mobile and tablet users the same comforts of browsing our site as laptop and desktop users. Built in WordPress

Another technology we’ve been working with for quite some time now is WordPress. WordPress is an open source content management system – enabling clients to manage and update their own website. While implementing this on our website, we’ve developed some new custom post types to update our portfolio section and manage our new blog.

Blog

With the redesign of our website, we spent some additional time creating a blog section to keep customers informed of company news, along with the latest technologies we’ve been working with. We expect to post a couple of new articles every month, so be sure to visit every so often to see what we’ve been working on!
